Since we launched the FRAME 4000D, PC builders can now explore different ways to mount fans and radiators, swap out panels with diverse designs and materials, etc. This is all due to the FRAME 4000D’s full modularity and customization features, allowing PC builders to configure their setup exactly how they want it and change it going forward.
However, many builders require more space to work with, which is why we've taken all those modular features from the FRAME 4000D and put them into a larger, more capable chassis. Introducing the FRAME 5000D. Let's take a look.

Before we dive into the details, let’s make a quick comparison between the FRAME 5000D and FRAME 4000D. Aside from the obvious, which is the overall dimensions, what else does the FRAME 5000D offer?
Both the FRAME 4000D and FRAME 5000D support reverse connection motherboards; however, the FRAME 5000D features a modular pegboard pattern on its MB tray, allowing you to relocate and position cable management straps where needed precisely. This newer, simplified cable management system is known as CORSAIR RapidRoute 2.0.
It also opens the door to 3D printing various mechanical parts or alternative cable features.
Due to an increase in size, cooling capabilities are another facet where the FRAME 5000D has an advantage over the FRAME 4000D, specifically in supporting 140mm fans. You can also fit more SSDs in the FRAME 5000D compared to the FRAME 4000D, allowing users to add more storage to their build.

The FRAME 5000D is a premium case, so it's natural to provide built-in adjustable GPU support, removeable cable management tie downs, and rubber grommets have also been added, giving your build a cleaner appearance. Additionally, we've used less tacky adhesive for some of the branding, so you can remove it if you find it too intrusive.
There is also a cable route on the internal side panel, providing extra space for your 24-pin cable and any additional front I/O for those who are yet to upgrade to reverse connection motherboards.
The FRAME 5000D is available in two variants. The first variant includes four RS120 ARGB fans pre-installed, allowing direct connection to your motherboard's ARGB port for RGB lighting control via the motherboard's software.
The second variant features four non-RGB RS120 fans, perfect for users wanting a subtle, stealthy setup without compromising on the RS fan's cooling capabilities. Both models are offered in black and white color options. and both of those variants come in black and white colorways.
The FRAME 5000D allows users to customize and configure their computer cases according to their specific needs. This feature provides flexibility in terms of component placement, cable management, and cooling solutions. It includes removable panels, adjustable drive bays, and multiple mounting options, making upgrades and maintenance easier.
This allows you to tailor your PC build the way you want it by using parts in various colors, materials, or designs. CORSAIR's vision for this case centers on customization, making it a core part of the design philosophy.
The innovative steel multi-point mounting system offers flexibility for configuring your front and roof fans. Thanks to its adjustable design, you can easily slide the rail to position fans of varying sizes and make some final small adjustments thanks to the sliding fan clips.
This flexibility allows you to place the fans according to your specific needs, ensuring optimal and directed airflow throughout your PC build, free from the restrictions typically associated with traditional immovable fan mounts.
A case with ample cooling options is a better choice. The FRAME 5000D offers multiple mounting options for fans and radiators, ensuring maximum airflow. Here's the FRAME 5000D's fan and radiator compatibility.
Fans: 14x 120mm, 10x 140mm, 2x 160mm, 2x 200mm
Radiators: 120mm: Rear / 140mm: Rear / 280mm: Top, Front, Side /360mm: Top, Side, Front
In addition to the FRAME 5000D's outstanding cooling capacity, the front panel is further enhanced with a three-dimensional perforated Y-pattern, increasing airflow by 12.7% compared to the tri-hex pattern used on the previous 5000D model (2019).
Below this improved front panel design you'll find a tasteful ARGB light strip. You can set this to whatever color(s) you like, or leave it unpowered if you prefer to role sans-lighting.
High-end GPUs, such as the 5080 and 5090, tend to be large and heavy, which can put a significant amount of stress on your motherboard's PCIe slot, possibly resulting in lasting damage. The FRAME 5000D case is designed to support even the heaviest graphics cards, featuring a handy GPU anti-sag stabilization arm to keep your GPU securely in place, allowing you to compute with confidence.
If you want your graphics card to be the focus of your build, the FRAME 5000D makes it easy.
The FRAME 5000D also you to showcase your GPU’s fancy-looking cooling shroud by mounting it vertically, and the best part is that you won’t need an extra bracket. Just get a riser cable, and you’re all set for an epic setup.
While these FRAME 5000D features may not steal the show, each one of them plays an essential role, making this case one of the best premium chassis available in the mainstream market. It's the overall value they provide that truly sets it apart.
PSU Captive Screws – Two handy pre-installed screws make your PSU installation a breeze! Simply slide in the PSU and fasten it with the two thumbscrews that come with the case. This design not only makes it less likely to misplace the PSU screws but also speeds up the installation process. For optimal security, though, adding two additional PSU screws is a great idea to ensure everything stays firmly in place.
Extra EPS12V Space - This feature is a godsend for anyone who often forgets to plug in the EPS12V CPU connector after mounting a radiator or AIO cooler inside the case. The FRAME 5000D offers plenty of space to connect your EPS12V connector, even if you've already installed it, which is particularly helpful if you have larger hands.
Motherboard Shroud – Part of the case that might not receive much attention, but in terms of functionality, the MB shroud helps make your build look cleaner, as it covers the gap around the motherboard with reverse connections and the motherboard tray.
Pre-stamped Fill/Drain ports – If you're thinking about building a custom water-cooled PC, the FRAME 5000D makes it easy, featuring two pre-stamped custom water cooling ports, perfect for either filling and draining a custom loop.

Built for iCUE LINK - Designed from the ground up for seamless iCUE LINK integration, the FRAME 5000D features cable hooks, a multitude of tie-downs, and a designated mounting pocket for an iCUE LINK System Hub (sold separately).
Versatile Connectivity - Customization is at the heart of the FRAME 5000D, and that includes its front I/O panel. If you prefer a different connection type, want enhanced speed, or even want a unique layout, you can easily swap out the I/O panel for one that perfectly suits your needs. These front I/O panel upgrades will be available soon.
For PC enthusiasts, the FRAME 5000D RS (without RGB fans) is an excellent starting point if you’re looking for a performance build that’s both stealthy in appearance and sleek, without the extra flashiness of RGB lighting. It still includes all the core features that truly set the FRAME 5000D apart from the rest of the competition.
The FRAME 5000D RS ARGB combines performance with striking design, featuring 4x RS140 ARGB fans. It emphasizes versatility and innovation. Whether your focus is on cooling, highlighting RGB aesthetics, or utilizing the modular design, the FRAME 5000D RS ARGB is primed to excel in any configuration. For creators seeking both functionality and style, this case serves as the ideal centerpiece.
