Things you can do in iCUE with the XENEON EDGE

You can personalize your XENEON EDGE in various ways using iCUE. The new Widgets feature in iCUE allows you to effortlessly customize your screen with your favorite images, videos, and even live web content. In this guide, we’ll get into the most exciting possibilities along with some tips to help you make the most of them.

When powering on and launching iCUE, the XENEON EDGE tile will appear. From here there are many things you can do.

From the home screen, you will select the XENEON EDGE Pane and clicking on the “+” to add a new widget to your selected page of widgets. You can move between pages by clicking the numbers below the layout.

You can now select the widget that you would like to add to the page on the left hand side. You can select various options for the selected widget in the center pane. If you widget has secondary options or requires cropping of images, there will be additional options on the right pane.

After completing the setup, you’ll be able to choose from a variety of widgets. Here’s an overview of each widget and what it does!

The Media Widget in iCUE is all about personalization. Whether you want to showcase your favorite game clips, set a relaxing wallpaper, or highlight epic moments, this widget can do it.

Supported File Types:

• Images and Icons: .ico, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp
• Videos: .mp4, .avi, .mov, .mpeg, .webm

You can easily choose images or videos directly from the Image/Video Select panel, making it simple to pick what you want to showcase. Switching between images and videos is effortless. There are no limits on file size or length, so if you love it, go ahead and share it.

Why switch screens when you can have everything in one place? The iFrame Widget lets you embed web content directly onto your Xeneon Edge display. From live stats and maps to your favorite forums, the possibilities are endless.

How It Works:

An iFrame (inline frame) allows you to embed parts of a web page into your dashboard without opening a separate browser. With the iFrame Widget, you can paste full iFrame code and interact with the content right on your screen.

A neat implementation of this can be by embedding pomodoro timer to your XENEON EDGE, so you can have a dedicated timer while you work!

Note: Some websites might restrict iFrame displays due to security policies. If a site doesn’t load, it’s not your XENEON EDGE, it’s the website.

Paste a YouTube video or playlist link to watch directly on your display. This widget supports standard YouTube videos for a smooth viewing experience.

Note: YouTube Shorts might not be supported.

Keep up with Twitch chat discussions in real-time without leaving iCUE. Perfect for streamers who want to interact with their audience effortlessly.

Note:

• This widget only supports Twitch channel links.
• If the channel is not currently streaming, the widget may show an error screen.
• If the link is in incorrect format (not a Twitch channel, or not a web URL), the widget may display an error screen.

Whether it’s your favorite family photo or a cherished video, this widget can showcase it! With no restrictions on file size or video length, you can even upload an entire movie if you’d like.

Have a folder filled with photos and videos from your last vacation in Japan? You can upload that folder filled with your memories, the Gallery Widget will show your videos and photos as a slideshow!

The Launch App Widget allows you to quickly access your favorite applications or website links directly from your screen.

Notes:

• You can easily add shortcuts to your favorite apps or websites, launching them instantly with just one tap.
• Personalize the widget by changing the icons of your apps for easier recognition or aesthetic preference.
• Include as many applications or web links as your widget size permits by tapping the "+" button.

The Sensor Chat Widget lets you choose any component sensor to keep an eye on temperatures right from your XENEON EDGE.

The Volume Widget provides quick access to your Volume Mixer, allowing you to conveniently control the audio levels of all sources, including games, whenever adjustments are needed.

Stay on top of your Teams notifications with this widget, allowing you to view all incoming alerts directly on your XENEON EDGE.
