Last year, we launched the NAUTILUS RS series of ARGB AIO CPU coolers. These all-in-one coolers were available at a lower cost compared to our iCUE-based AIOs but still provided high performance and efficient cooling using the same core components, while allowing you to control the fans via ARGB.
This meant you weren’t reliant on our ecosystem and could enjoy improved compatibility with motherboard lighting through software such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome RGB, and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion. Of course, the trade-off was that the NAUTILUS RS coolers weren't compatible with CapSwap modules, meaning that you couldn’t upgrade them to have an LCD screen for hardware monitoring, meme use, and everything in between.
Luckily, that ends today. The NAUTILUS RS LCD gives you the best of both words, with support for the PWM standard for the fans, and iCUE to take care of the LCD screen. Let’s take a look.

PWM is one of the most ubiquitous fan control methods out there, so virtually every motherboard will support it. Not only that, but it’s becoming increasingly common for cases, such as the upcoming FRAME 5000D to have built-in lighting which is controlled with PWM.
This means that the NAUTILUS RS LCD is the perfect CPU cooler for those who do not care about committing themselves to a single brand or regularly change out the components in their system. Additionally, this means you can very easily use a big mix of brands in your system.
The Pump speeds are also controlled via PWM through the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. This allows the pump to speed up and slow down in direct response to the CPU’s temperature, so your cooling will always be lockstep, perfectly reacting to the needs of your system.
The cold plate of the NAUTILUS RS LCD is also ever so slightly convex. This might sound like an odd choice given that CPUs are famously flat. However, if the cold plate is just a little convex at rest, then the mounting pressure imposed when you install it will actually pull it down into the perfectly flat area to match the CPU.
The microscopic gaps are then filled in for you with the pre-applied thermal paste which spreads perfectly when the aforementioned mounting pressure comes into play.
Finally, we reach the feature that differentiates this version from the previous NAUTILUS RS Coolers: the built-in 2.1" IPS LCD screen, on which you may display many things. With iCUE installed the screen can display still images, GIFs, or important system information. Perhaps a mixture of all of them via the screen constructor functionality within iCUE. This allows you to overlay different images and information sources.
Additionally, it no longer matters if your screen ends up in a weird orientation from unconventional mounting angles. Simply use iCUE to flip it around until it’s correct. This makes it easier if your case only has one space to mount an AIO.
